Colorado’s starter Aaron Cook will make his first start since August 10. The right-hander went 8-7 with a 4.12 ERA in 25 starts and is 4-5 with a 5.31 ERA at home. Cook is 0-2 with a 3.65 ERA in his two career outings against the Red Sox.
The Rockies came into the series on fire, but went lifeless. To my surprise, they dropped last nights home game, 10-5 and now are down 0-3. Say goodnight! Go with the Red Sox for the sweep against the collapse Rockies. Boston has won six of southpaw Jon Lester last 8 road starts.
